Scott graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with degrees in Graphic Design, Industrial Design and Photographic Illustration. As president of 360KID, Scott is known for his ability to bring extraordinary design and engineering talent to each project the company undertakes, and for his deep knowledge of the education and entertainment industries. He speaks at national conferences and was an instructor at Harvard University's Extension School for twelve years.
Phyllis has over 25 years experience in sales to the consumer and education market. Phyllis began her sales career selling door to door for World Book and winning the Presidents' Award. As National Sales Manager for Scholastic Software, Phyllis was responsible for creating marketing materials for parents on "How to Buy the Best Educational Software." Following Scholastic was Totes. Inc., where Phyllis sold successfully for many years to major department stores and mass trade accounts. Phyllis also worked as the National Sales Manager for Hasbro Interactive and Purple Moon, selling to retail, and the Princeton Review, selling to the school market. Phyllis holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Buffalo State College, majoring in Special Education, and a Master's of Education degree from Tulane University.
Christine has over 14 years of experience designing and developing interactive products. For the past 8 years she has focused solely on creating interactive learning environments including CD-ROM titles, large web initiatives, and whole-class learning environments. Her work has involved extensive focus group and user testing, and she is an enthusiastic supporter of the user-centered design process. Christine holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Tech in Industrial Design, and a Deuxieme Degré from the L'Ecole National Superior des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, France.
Ellen has experience in both teaching and editorial development, with specific skills in information architecture, usability studies, and content development. Her background includes work with DC Heath, Boston Parents Papers, and 360KID clients such as Prentice Hall, The Princeton Review, and Mr. Rogers. Ellen holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.A. from Harvard University, both in English Language and Literature.
Leah has more than 25 years experience in marketing, print and electronic product development, and business strategy development for the consumer and education markets. As executive vice president and executive producer of Riverdeep, Inc., Leah was responsible for product strategy and rollout from the company's development centers in the United States and Ireland. Prior to joining Riverdeep, Leah was president of her own consulting firm which provided strategic consulting and educational materials development to such companies as PBS, Pearson/Prentice Hall, Continental Cablevision, and NYNEX (now Verizon). Leah began her career at WGBH, Boston, and was formerly the Director of Educational Programming at MediaOne (now Comcast). Leah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in film from Boston University, and a Master of Business Administration from Simmons School of Management.
Dave has been a professional illustrator, animator, graphic designer, and art director for over ten years. His clients have included the biggest names in entertainment and education, from Comedy Central’s Daily Show and South Park to Pearson Learning Group and Boston’s Museum of Science. Dave holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Wesleyan University.
Leslie began her career as a producer and writer well before the birth of the buzzword “multimedia.” She has written and produced projects that deal with such varied subjects as emotional competence in children, dealing with divorce, media literacy, and body image. A longtime member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Leslie holds an M.A. in Educational Software Development from Columbia University.
